Code of Conduct & Institutional Rules

Ayodhya Vidyapeeth College of Nursing and Paramedical Sciences is committed to preparing its trainees to become exemplary citizens by adhering to a strict code of ethics and professional conduct while fulfilling their personal and professional responsibilities.


General Rules & Regulations

1Every student admitted to B.Sc Nursing, GNM, or ANM courses must strictly follow the rules and regulations of the institute.
2All decisions taken by the management shall be final and binding.
3Students must assemble on the college campus for prayer sharp at 9:45 AM daily.
4Students must be punctual and present in class at least 5 minutes before the commencement of lectures.
5Perfect discipline and strict silence must be maintained inside lecture halls.
6Movement outside classrooms during lectures should be minimal and only for valid reasons.
7Loitering in corridors or attending unauthorized classes during lecture hours is strictly prohibited.
8Silence must be maintained in classrooms, library, reading rooms, and corridors.
9Student nurses are strictly prohibited from accepting any gifts or gratuities from patients or their relatives.
10Students must maintain high ethical and professional standards both inside and outside the college, hospital, hostel, and community premises.
11Students are responsible for proper handling and safe custody of lab equipment. Any damage due to negligence must be compensated.
12Wilful damage to college or hospital property will be treated as a serious disciplinary offense.
13Students are not allowed to paste notices or display materials without prior written permission from the Principal’s office.
14Students are forbidden from communicating with external authorities without permission from the Principal’s office.
15Students must take care of institutional property and refrain from writing on walls, desks, or other surfaces.
16Students must not approach the Principal directly without prior permission from the class coordinator, except in emergencies.
17Issues should be reported to the class representative, who will escalate them to the class coordinator. Direct escalation is allowed only in urgent cases.
18Any student damaging the reputation of the institute may face expulsion.
19Students discontinuing the course must clear all dues before leaving; original certificates will be withheld until clearance.
20Violation of institute or hostel rules will be dealt with strictly, including possible dismissal depending on severity.
21Transport facilities are provided for fieldwork when feasible; otherwise, students must arrange transportation at their own expense.
22Rules and regulations are subject to change from time to time as per institutional requirements.

Important Note

Note
After admission, if a student chooses to leave the college, they must follow the official admission cancellation process and obtain a No Dues Certificate by clearing all remaining fees.
